Who is eligible

You can join the Scheme if you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of DLA, the Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of PIP, the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement, Armed Forces Independence Payment or Adult Disability Payment at the enhanced mobility rate, with at least 12 months remaining.

What is included

Advance Payment

Some SEAT models are available with no Advance Payment; others require a one-off payment at the start of the lease. The figure is shown on each offer and can change quarterly.

Three-year lease

The standard Motability lease runs for three years (five years for wheelchair accessible vehicles). At the end you can choose a new SEAT, return the car, or in some cases extend.

Can I get a SEAT on the Motability Scheme?

Yes, where the model appears on this page. Availability and Advance Payments are set each quarter, so the offers shown are the current SEAT Motability prices from West End Garage SEAT Stirling.

What does the Advance Payment cover?

It is a one-off, non-refundable payment made at the start of the three-year lease that reflects the car's specification. It is in addition to the weekly mobility allowance paid directly to Motability.

Who can drive a Motability car?

Up to three named drivers can be insured, and the customer does not have to drive themselves. Drivers must live within five miles of the customer or be a family member, carer or friend who drives for them.

Does the lease include insurance and servicing?

Yes. Insurance, servicing, maintenance, breakdown cover, tyres and windscreen replacement are all included for the three years and 60,000 miles.

Can I test drive a SEAT before I order?

Yes. West End Garage SEAT Stirling will arrange a test drive, demonstrate the car's accessibility and talk through adaptations before you decide.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on whether the car is in stock or built to order. Our Motability specialists will give you an expected delivery date when you place the application.
