Who it is for
Eligible sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and other qualifying business users, subject to status and the funder’s criteria.

Quick answer
The agreement is designed around a defined period and mileage. The complete quotation must be read before ordering because the initial rental, monthly rentals, VAT treatment, maintenance position, excess mileage charge and return conditions can differ between offers.
Eligible sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and other qualifying business users, subject to status and the funder’s criteria.
An initial rental is followed by the agreed monthly rentals for the stated contract period.
The quotation includes an annual or total mileage allowance. Excess mileage charges may apply when the allowance is exceeded.
The Škoda is returned in line with the agreement’s mileage and vehicle-condition requirements. There is no automatic ownership option.
Is BCH the right route?
Business Contract Hire can provide a clear replacement cycle and agreed rentals without the business taking ownership of the car. Suitability depends on mileage certainty, expected use, contract flexibility, accounting and tax requirements, and whether ownership is important.
Customer journey
A useful quotation starts with how the car will actually be used. Accurate information at the outset reduces the risk of comparing offers built on different assumptions.
Tell us the number of cars, driver roles, typical journeys, carrying needs, preferred body style and replacement timing.
Compare model, derivative, engine or electric drivetrain, equipment, passenger space and load capacity.
Select an available contract period and realistic annual mileage based on business and permitted private use.
The initial rental and contract structure influence the monthly rental. Compare like with like rather than the headline monthly figure alone.
Confirm whether maintenance is included, available as an option or excluded, and understand exactly which items are covered.
Check VAT, eligibility, excess mileage, return condition, early termination, order deadline and vehicle availability before proceeding.
Compare correctly
Before ordering
During the agreement
Estimate mileage using regular commuting, customer visits, motorway travel, seasonal peaks and permitted private use. Tell the funder promptly if expected mileage changes; available options depend on the agreement.
A maintenance package is not automatically included. Where offered, check servicing, repairs, tyres, breakdown support and exclusions rather than relying on the word “maintained”.
The car must be returned in line with the agreement’s condition standard. Damage beyond the applicable standard, missing equipment or incomplete servicing may result in charges.
Ending a contract early can involve substantial charges. Ask for the funder’s process and an early-termination quotation before making a decision.
Next step
Provide the preferred model or body style, number of cars, expected annual mileage, contract timing, preferred initial rental and whether maintenance is required. The West End Garage team can then prepare or source a relevant quotation rather than relying on a generic headline rate.

Helpful information
It is a long-term rental agreement for eligible business users. The agreement normally combines an initial rental, agreed monthly rentals, a defined term and a mileage allowance. The car is returned at the end and there is no ownership.
A sole trader may be eligible, subject to the finance provider’s status, identity, credit and business criteria. A quotation is not a guarantee of acceptance.
No. Business Contract Hire does not provide ownership. The Škoda is returned in accordance with the agreement.
The quotation sets out the agreed rental structure for the stated term, subject to the contract. Read the full quotation for any circumstances in which charges can change, including excess mileage, damage, early termination or changes to taxation.
Use a realistic estimate covering business journeys and any permitted private use. Choosing too little can lead to excess mileage charges, while choosing more mileage can increase the rental.
Only when the quotation expressly says it is included. Some agreements may offer maintenance as an option. Check the scope, exclusions and driver process.
An excess mileage charge may apply at the rate stated in the agreement. Contact the provider if mileage expectations change during the contract.
Early termination may be possible but can involve significant charges. Ask the finance provider for the formal process and a written settlement or termination quotation.
Business offers often state rentals excluding VAT, but the presentation must be checked on each offer. The complete quotation should show the VAT position clearly.
Contact the business team with the preferred model, number of cars, annual mileage, replacement date, preferred term and maintenance requirement. The team can then discuss current availability and quotation options.
