£1,500 Škoda UK Grant Guarantee‡

..........

Thanks to the Government’s new Electric Car Grant scheme announced on 15 July 2025, owning an electric car has become more affordable.

To qualify for the grant, electric car models must meet criteria including pricing and sustainability, and Škoda is working with the authorities to confirm which of our cars might be eligible for the discount. While we wait for that confirmation, we are pleased to announce a Škoda UK Grant Guarantee of £1,500‡. This guarantee is available for Retail customers who place an order for one of the vehicles listed below between 1st August and 31st August 2025.

  • Elroq; SE, SEL, Edition & SportLine
  • Enyaq; SEL, Edition & SportLine 85

The Škoda UK Grant Guarantee‡ is a commitment that you will receive either the Government grant of £1,500 or, if that grant is not available due to the above vehicles not being eligible, you will receive an equivalent discount of £1,500. To qualify for the Škoda UK Grant Guarantee, customers must take delivery of their ordered vehicle after 1st September 2025..

Maintenance

Are electric cars different to service and maintain? In a nutshell yes. But in a good way.
Are you interested in battery’s protection and lifecycle, and the safety of electric cars in general?
And you'll quickly discover there is nothing to worry about.

Regular inspections

If you have an Enyaq, you should have a regular service every 2 years, but this is not dependent on the mileage. The car itself or the MyŠkoda mobile app will tell you how often you need to visit a service centre. You can also find service intervals in your Owner's Manual.

Seasonal inspections

To make sure that your car is well prepared for the upcoming season, whether summer or winter, your authorised Škoda Service provides special offers. These inspections include a check on the status of the tyres, brakes, battery, fluids, headlights and many other areas.

MOT testing

Your authorised Škoda Service will prepare your car for its MOT testing. Where necessary, they will fix any issues found, subject to your agreement, so that you can be absolutely sure that your car is going to pass the tests.

Why is servicing of electric cars cheaper?

Unlike petrol or diesel engines with their thousands of moving parts, an electric motor does not require so much attention. It means lower maintenance costs in general compared to conventional combustion-engined cars.
