A DECADE OF ŠKODA KODIAQ

Ten years of family adventures

The Škoda Kodiaq is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its debut, with an exciting new chapter for the popular family SUV.

Škoda’s international announcement introduces an elegant Laurin & Klement version and a more powerful plug-in hybrid, expanding the choice available within the second-generation Kodiaq range.

From Berlin to more than 1.2 million customers

First unveiled in Berlin in September 2016, the Kodiaq has become a familiar choice for families seeking space, comfort and everyday practicality.

Now sold in more than 70 markets, it has attracted more than 1.2 million customers worldwide. In 2025, the Kodiaq was Škoda’s second best-selling model.

PLUG-IN HYBRID PERFORMANCE

More power. More choice.

The latest international announcement introduces a Kodiaq plug-in hybrid with a system output of 200 kW, an increase of 50 kW over the existing 150 kW version. Maximum torque rises to 400 Nm.

The powertrain pairs a 1.5 TSI petrol engine producing 130 kW with an 85 kW electric motor. Its 25.7 kWh battery supports a manufacturer-quoted electric driving range of more than 100 kilometres, approximately 62 miles.

200 kW: combined system output.

400 Nm: maximum torque.

25.7 kWh: battery capacity.

The existing 150 kW plug-in hybrid remains in the international range, with both versions featuring front-wheel drive.

UK availability, pricing and ordering dates for the 200 kW version are not confirmed in this international release. Electric range varies with specification, temperature, driving style, battery charge and journey conditions.

LAURIN & KLEMENT
