• Check the things you carry. Bring your usual mobility equipment, where practical, so we can look at loading space and ease of use together.
• Arrange a test drive. Contact your preferred branch so we can check demonstrator availability and plan a visit around the car you would like to try.
• Talk through adaptations and charging. Tell us what you need before ordering. We can discuss the next steps with an adaptation specialist or explain the charging questions to consider with an electric car.
• Make the next steps clear. We can explain the application process, confirm the Advance Payment for your chosen version and allowance, and discuss current availability and expected delivery.

A few questions you might have

Can I join the Motability Scheme?

You need an eligible mobility allowance and, when applying to join, at least 12 months remaining on your award. Qualifying Scottish benefits include the relevant mobility components of Adult Disability Payment, Child Disability Payment and Scottish Adult Disability Living Allowance. What is included in the Scheme?

The lease includes insurance, servicing, maintenance and breakdown cover, subject to the Scheme’s terms. Motability explains the full package and any limits on its website.
