Škoda News

Meet the new Škoda Peaq – Škoda's electric flagship

The new Škoda Peaq takes its place at the top of the Škoda range, combining seven-seat practicality, long-distance electric driving capability and an exceptionally spacious interior with the latest generation of Škoda technology.

Designed around Škoda's Modern Solid design language, the Peaq has been created as an electric car without the usual compromises associated with carrying passengers, luggage or travelling longer distances.

With seating for up to seven occupants, a driving range of more than 640 kilometres on selected versions and the largest battery yet installed in a production Škoda, the Peaq represents a significant step forward for the brand.

1. Modern Solid Design

A new flagship with unmistakable Škoda design

The Škoda Peaq makes an immediate impression. Its exterior follows the brand's Modern Solid design philosophy, combining clean surfaces, strong proportions and functional aerodynamic details with a more premium appearance.

Key features include distinctive T-shaped headlights and the latest interpretation of the Tech-Deck Face, which can also be specified with illuminated design elements.

Eight exterior colours will be available, including a new Rosewood Beige metallic finish developed for the Peaq.

2. Exceptional Interior Space

The largest Škoda yet – with seating for up to seven

Measuring 4,874 mm long with a 2,965 mm wheelbase, the Peaq becomes the largest model in the Škoda passenger car range.

Its dedicated electric MEB platform allows Škoda to make particularly effective use of the available space, with up to three rows of seats and accommodation for seven passengers.

Škoda has even demonstrated the versatility of the Peaq by transforming the vehicle into a camper-style configuration, highlighting just how flexible its passenger and luggage space can be.

3. Comfort Without Compromise

Designed to feel like a lounge on wheels

Passenger comfort has been made a major priority for the Peaq. In addition to its generous cabin dimensions, Škoda has developed a comfort-focused suspension setup, extensive sound insulation and carefully selected interior materials.

An available Relax Package takes this further with AGR-certified seats featuring massage functions and ergonomic leg rests.

A premium sound system developed with Sonos and an integrated wellness application are also available, helping create a more relaxed environment during longer journeys.

There's plenty of familiar Škoda practicality too, including a folding table integrated neatly into the centre console.

4. Long-Distance Electric Capability

More than 640 km of electric driving range

One of the biggest developments is underneath the Peaq. Selected versions feature a battery with up to 91 kWh gross capacity and 86 kWh usable capacity – the largest battery fitted to a Škoda model to date.

This allows a claimed driving range of more than 640 kilometres on a single charge. The entry battery, with 63 kWh gross and 59 kWh usable capacity, is capable of more than 450 kilometres.

Peaq power outputs

Available power outputs include 150 kW, 210 kW and 220 kW, with both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions available.

Efficiency has been supported by extensive aerodynamic development including active shutters beneath the front bumper, an air-curtain system around the wheels, aerodynamic wheel designs, flush door handles, a rear spoiler and an optimised diffuser. The result is a drag coefficient of just 0.249.

5. Simply Clever Meets New Technology

Familiar Škoda practicality with new-generation technology

The Peaq retains the Simply Clever features Škoda owners already know, including an ice scraper and an umbrella stored within the door, but combines them with a new generation of digital and convenience technology.

  • 13.6-inch vertically orientated infotainment display
  • Qi2 high-power wireless smartphone charging
  • Dedicated physical climate-control switches
  • Longitudinally and vertically adjustable centre armrest
  • Panoramic parking camera with transparent 3D vehicle view
  • Available Travel Assist 3.0 driver-assistance technology
  • Windscreen wipers incorporating integrated washer nozzles

The Peaq also introduces the largest panoramic roof fitted to a Škoda, covering approximately 2.1 square metres. Dynamic Shading Control allows occupants to adjust the amount of tint and light entering the cabin.

New Škoda Peaq

A significant new chapter for Škoda electric cars

The combination of seven-seat versatility, considerable luggage capacity, long-distance electric range and new interior technology makes the Škoda Peaq one of the most significant new models to join the Škoda range.

For families looking to move to an electric vehicle without sacrificing passenger space or everyday practicality, the new Peaq could become an important addition to the growing Škoda electric car line-up.
